Privacy Policy

Account details: e-mail, display name and language. Guest mode needs no e-mail – we simply create an anonymous account to hold your content.

Content you upload: photos of clothes, outfit photos, the photo you use to create a personal try-on avatar, plus the notes, brands and prices you add.

Optional body and style details: height, weight, build and favourite styles. They only make proportions and suggestions more like you, and you can skip them.

Location (optional): the city you set, or the approximate coordinates you allow, used only to look up today's weather.

Logs: to debug problems and prevent abuse, our servers keep short-lived request logs (time, endpoint, status code, IP address).

To provide the product: background removal, item recognition, colour extraction, outfit planning, try-on renders and 360° views, wardrobe insights.

To run your account safely: signing in, password resets, rate limiting and abuse prevention.

For billing: keeping track of credits and subscription status.

We do not train our own models on your photos, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party ads.

AI model providers: when a feature needs a large model, the relevant images and text are sent through an API to the provider we have configured (for example OpenAI, Google or Anthropic, or a compatible gateway). Under those providers' API terms, data submitted through the API is not used to train their models by default.

Infrastructure: Vercel (web hosting), Fly.io (application server), Cloudflare R2 (image storage), Stripe (payments), Resend or Gmail (transactional e-mail such as password resets) and Open-Meteo (weather – receives approximate coordinates only).

Beyond the processors needed to provide the service, and cases where the law requires it, we do not disclose your data to anyone.

Your wardrobe, photos and looks are private by default. A public link exists only when you switch on sharing for a specific diary entry or showcase clip, and it stops working the moment you switch it off.

The plaza: only what you publish, one post at a time, becomes public – the picture or clip, your words, the occasion and mood tags, the names and thumbnails of the pieces in that look, plus your handle and bio. Likes, saves, comments, follows and votes are linked to your handle too. You can delete a post at any time; deleting its source (the diary entry, look or clip) takes it down as well. Content reported by several people is taken out of circulation until a person has reviewed it.

Real partners in the duo show: an avatar of another person is created only after that person uploads their own photo through an invitation link and gives explicit consent; whether clips they appear in may be shared publicly is their separate choice. They can withdraw consent through the same link at any time, which deletes their avatar, their photo and every clip they appear in. We never generate the likeness of a celebrity or of any real person without their consent.

We use two strictly necessary cookies: yo_session (keeps you signed in, httpOnly) and yo_locale (remembers your language). There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your content is kept until you delete it. You can delete any garment, look, avatar or diary entry at any time, and the image files are removed from storage with it.

Under Me → Data & privacy you can export everything as JSON, or delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes the account, your photos and everything generated. This cannot be undone.

Guest accounts that have not been used for a long time may be cleaned up automatically.

Wherever you live, you can access, correct, export and delete your data, and withdraw consent (for example by deleting your avatar). Where local law such as the GDPR, CCPA or PIPL gives you further rights, we honour them.

YesOOTD is not directed to children under 14. Please do not upload photos of minors to create a try-on avatar.
